Honeymoon

Because whatever my queen wants my queen gets, our honeymoon destination was the Galapagos Islands (because apparently after marriage you have to do whatever your wife wants!?!).

The Galapagos was amazing. It was an incredible journey of snorkeling, animal watching and Daniela putting up with my food-poisoned self. The Galapagos is probably the closest thing we have to a real-life Jurassic Park, with exotic animals at every turn. It was an amazing experience.

Daniela and I have an apartment! It is in a great location, right next to Quito’s Central Park and lots of delicious American food (Carls Jr., Chilis, Fridays, KFC, Papa Johns, Subway, etc.). Below are some pictures. Que fantastico!

I don’t often enough show off the talent and skills of Daniela although I am very proud of how talented she is and how hard she works to improve every day. Daniela is a fashion designer at ETA Fashion, based in Quito, Ecuador. She is in charge of the Mens Navigare brand, which is one of ETA Fashion’s biggest lines (‘Navigare’ is Italian for ‘Navigate’, hence the Milanese imagery in the logo below). Daniela has to make her collections months ahead of time (the process is fascinating) so I can’t share with you what she has been working on the past few months as it isn’t out yet. However, below are some pictures of some of the currently on-sale products she has made (and I am wearing one right now!):
